General terms and conditions

Registration
With the registration the general terms and conditions and specific booking regulations are recognised. The registration is online , by e-mail or by using the "contact form"on the website. Registration is only possible with a valid first name, surname and postal address. The registration is binding and only valid for the corresponding course. The course place is guaranteed as soon as Swimatic (Csoke Swimatic EF) confirms the participation in writing.
The registration for the swimming holidays / training camps is only valid after the minimum deposit of 30% of the invoice amount.
Payment
By arrangement, by invoice or cash payment on the spot.
The entire outstanding invoice amount is payable within 14 days of the invoice date, but always before the start of the course.
If the invoice is not paid within the specified period, a first reminder with a 15.- Fr. reminder fee will follow. 14 days later the second reminder with additional 15.- Fr. reminder fee will follow.
Cancellation
If the already booked course cannot be attended, a written cancellation by Swimatic is required.
Non-payment of the course fee or absence from the course / lesson does not count as cancellation.

Cancellation costs (multi-lesson courses)*
14 to 8 calendar days before the start of the course: 50 % of the course fee must be paid
7 calendar days until course start 100 % of the course fee must be paid
In case of illness with presentation of a medical certificate, the course participation will be transferred to the next course date.
Swimatic will determine the date. The medical certificate must be sent to Swimatic within 3 days after the cancellation.

Cancellation (single lesson)**
less than 48 hours before the start of the course / lesson 100% of the course cost must be paid
In case of illness, with presentation of a medical certificate, the fee of the swimming course will be refunded.
The medical certificate must be sent within 3 days after the cancellation.

Waiting time: If the course participants arrive at the meeting point more than 15 minutes late, the course / lesson will be cancelled and the course fees must be paid in full.

Cancellation costs (swimming holidays)***
43 calendar days before arrival date:0% of course costs must be paid
42 to 27 calendar days before arrival date: 50% of the course costs must be paid
26 to 0 calendar days before arrival date: 100% of the course costs must be paid
* Crawl courses, weekend courses, beginner swimming courses
** Private and semi-private lessons, small group training, video analysis, Open Water trainings

Participants of the training groups are not entitled to a refund.
Due to illness, holidays, military service, etc., unattended courses/lessons do not entitle the participant to catch up or a reduction in course fees. No refund!
Course organisation
For organisational reasons, individual courses/lessons may be postponed. The participants will be informed in time.
Insurance
The course participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage (illness, accident, liability, cancellation costs, etc.). Swimatic accepts no liability for any damage of any kind incurred in the courses offered.
Photo / Video
Swimatic is entitled to publish photos and media data of courses, lessons and trainings without the consent of the participants. Should a participant not wish this, he/she must contact Swimatic by e-mail.
Place of jurisdiction
Swiss law is applicable for all legal relations with Swimatic. Place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
