Swimming & triathlon
Swimatic is a professional swimming school with a wide range of swimming courses in and around Zurich. Many years of experience and up-to-date scientific swimming knowledge are the basis of our methodology. At the same time, we consider fun and pleasure in swimming as to improving both your technique and speed.
Our Mission: We want to support swimmers and triathletes professionally in the achievement of their individual goals, be it beginners or experienced athletes. The goal can be quite different: whether it is to overcome the fear of water or to complete a triathlon at the best time, we believe that all goals are equally important to achieve. We take your individual goals seriously and help you to get there.
Szilard started his swimmer career in Hungary. He spent a large part of his childhood in the pool. While his friends spent their time doing pranks, he took spent his days swimming lanes in the local pool. After several successful years in competitive swimming he switched to triathlons. He had the chance to work with a number of professional coaches, which had a lasting influence on his own approach as a coach.
While studying Health Science and Communication, he began to become increasingly interested in the various forms of sport coaching what made them successful. At the same time, he began to work as a coach for young athletes. Soon he completed his studies with a "Master of Applied Health Science and Communication", but also completed his first qualification as a swimming instructor.
After graduation, Szilard moved to Zurich to become a professional swim coach. He specializes in the training and training of adults, master swimmers, competition swimmers and age-class triathletes. Szilard has the Federal Swiss swim training certificate "Schwimmtrainer A".
Balazs has been moving in the water for 25 years. During his childhood and youth in Hungary, he was a competitive swimmer. At the age of 18 he took part in his first triathlon. After completing his studies at the "Hungarian University of Physical Education", he concentrated on long-distance triathlons.
His swimming experience since his early childhood makes him one of the best swimmers among the long-distance triathletes. His best time over 3.8 km is at 45:32 minutes.
In 2011, he won his first Ironman title. He also started several times at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. Balazs has been living and training in Zurich since 2009 and has already helped some athletes prepare for competitions and improve their swimming times. His focus as coach is primarily on triathlon swimming. His swimmers have already achieved many successes in competitions and championships.
